the one with an old friend
finally caught up with lip and had a great coffee (booze for him) session at border's cafe last evening. was quite affected by the news regarding retrenchment from their ex agency and it disappointed her when she knew a different side of some people whom she had always thought fondly of. guess there's a jerkyl and hyde in everyone of us.
on a chirpier note, the evening started from:
- work
- ex colleagues
- chess masters
- relationships
- fear of having deformed children
- migration
there's always something new on the table cos we share fairly similar views, likes and exploring intellectual interests, he's a book geek too (ha!) check out the dude's cool ring.
