las sentosa
being a silent supporter of the much talked about casino brawhaha, i'm actually looking forward to the envisioned sentosa (las vegas style). commercialisation and sin city aside (how it harms the fabric of society yadda), singapore's a small city, so how the fuck are we to survive in a competitive tourism economy when...Hong kong, pearl of the orient, is more famed for its food and shopping
Indonesia for its quiet beaches and chill out
Thailand too for its island parties and cheap ethnic shopping
Malaysia for cheaper everything (than singapore)
so...tell me how are we to increase tourists numbers when we have limited offerings?
this is probably the only thing from the gahmen that i support with two willing hands (minus their beating round the bush for the nation's approval PR campaign crap).
