the one with the amazing race
did i ever mention what a BIG fan i am of CBS's the amazing race?anyhow, rushed home from dinner last evening to catch the first episode of the family edition and i so wanted to slap the paolos right down from the mom to the boys. i have to say i'm very impressed by carissa from the gaghan family, amazing team spirit and enthusiasm for a nine year old i must say, and cute as a button to boot! but we'll see how the kids go as they move along the race, not an easy feat cos some tasks are just more advantageous with four adults than two (manual labour like canoeing). then again, it really depends on how strategic you are in making use of what you have. the gaghans made a smart choice in the buggy cos the kids are like feathers in comparison to 400 pounds of deadweight. what were the aiellos' and linzs' thinking?
conversation with the other half during amazing race's commercial break:
m: hullo, what are you doing now?
b: hi sweets, me watching amazing race
m: so you don't wanna talk to me? but i want to talk to you for ten minutes, no half an hour!
b: cannot, i wanna watch tv!!!!!
m: kidding la, i'm watching it too (amazing race music comes on) ok ok, program's back, bye!
b: bye!

i love amazing race too! think it's the best reality tv program and was happy that they won the emmys as well.
family edition? hmmm.. hope they show it soon over here.
