the one with the pizza cloud

two hungry souls took eons to decide on dinner last evening. it was a toss between pizza hut, california pizza or KFC. but how the heck are they to finish 2 regular sized california pizzas by themselves unless the fridge had sufficient space for leftovers? why can't they do thin crusted personal sized pizzas like the marche ones? the other half left the final choice to her and she decided to walk back to the kopitiam for a healthier alternative like beehoon or meepok.

but...she saw pizza in his eyes...

b: sweetie, look at me
m: continues fiddling and staring forlornly at california pizza brochure
b: sweetie, i said look me in the eye and tell me you want pizza and we'll go back to get it ok? cos i really don't mind having it if you are ok with finishing the leftovers tomorrow?
m: puppy eyes that scream PIZZA but said "no no its ok, let's have meepok, come come" puts arm around her shoulder as they ambled back to the kopitiam.

how cute...it's the little things about them that make you laugh.

btw, the ban mien which they both had in the end was totally unsatisfying. it's pizza anytime the next round sweetie, my fault. bleah.
