new discovery in KL
i've found the perfect new place to stay in KL, Hotel Maya, something contemporary which the other half would be delighted with (maybe not the price though).bee wrote this at 12:51 PM

went to check out the hotel. really really nice.. but the amount for the cheapest room can be used for a bkk trip. hehe

yeah i know..sniff. how to compete with a $16.99 airfare to bangkok from airasia?!? sigh...waiting for cheap promos to perth now

Where do you find these places? It's so amazing. Even though it's not as cheap as a Bangkok trip, it looks totally doable for a short getaway --- the kind where you immure yourself in a room away from everyone, everything, rather than the mad shopping one.

aah, you forget, i've TONS of free time for googling now :) hehe. go check out the side bar "globe trekking", hotel chatter is quite interesting if you have the time. the nice places are usually classified under "boutique" hotels. honestly, i don't understand how people can find so many things to buy in KL. i had trouble finding NICE stuff.
