yay! you're bloggging more again! missed reading your posts.

anyways, is the step down in paycheck a big step? i would love to say go for passion, but no moolah can be pretty tough.

well, wishing you all the best! :)

agree. depends on how big the jump is. if you can still survive but maybe have to cut down on shopping and drinking just a bit, i'd say go for it. you'll be so much happier :)

aye.. i agree with the other two.. but i think working in a job you REALLY like brings intangible benefits - fall sick less = see less doc, need less retail therapy so don't need so much $$ and a pay cut wouldn't feel so painful. and think of how much more radiant u'd look - less facials.

But seriously. Doing something you enjoy is much better than dragging your feet to work everyday.

Ahem!

Pay cut? Check.

Title change? Check.

just wanted to add something else

as the saying goes "find a job you love and you'll feel like you've never worked a day your life"

but of course like i mentioned above, being practical (money) is also a factor to think about. but i totally agree with what sarah says, the whole intangible benefits thingy.

i think you know what i'm going to say.
these are from this month i-D:

1. work as if you don't need the money.
2. love as if you've not been hurt before.
3. dance as if not one is watching.

you portrait (#34) is out.

sabbie: heh, been busy helping the bf with the model last week hence the non blogging status but things are bk on track now :).

to all: yeah, i would like to believe in working for passion too. i haven't taken that scary leap yet but we'll see how things go. terz, yes, that was a big (but brave) leap you took from corporate to arts. inspiring in some way.

tony: work as if you don't need the money. funny, i really like that line. i would really love to believe truly in it but the practical bitch in me tells me i work for money and i love with caution. but i can definitely do the last bit, dance as if no one is watching.
