of valentine's day

she hated to sound all mush but she had to admit valentine's was an all but lovely one this year. they've always spent valentines at home, for obvious reasons of cos. why pay double the amount of money to walk along the bloody streets with hundred other lovebirds with bouquets big enough to knock your socks off.

what warmed her heart so much was his effort in cooking her a meal from scratch despite his tiredness and neverending work load. they haven't been spending copious amounts of time together since the semester started again (haha) so tuesday night was really really special for her. she'd loved to post pictures of the chef, the awesome chargrilled chicken with tomato red wine sauce, the garlic portobello mushrooms and the bunch of pretty roses which aunty meow conveniently brought home for her. unfortunately, the cam's still at the other half's place so it'll have to come later.

thank you for giving me such a sweetheart.
