on a separate note, have finally surrendered and gave in to dan brown's da vinci code over the weekend. she's always been interested in conspiracy theories hence the love for sidney sheldon when she was a tween. back to the book, she avoided reading it previously cos it was way overrated when first published. everyone was raving bout it and honestly, she saw no reason to read something which might end up confusing a borderline free thinker trying to separate historical facts from fiction. but she has to admit the book piqued her curiosity and became an accidental vehicle to convince and encourage non christians in reading up on other learning materials (so as to ensure they're not fed bull from dan brown).
