about this thing called "married" couples
another lunar new year has come and gone.angpows no longer hold great fancy as you inch closer to the 30 line. in fact, it becomes an embarassment to receive something meant for the "youthful" and little ones. and when you try to reject it politely and perhaps discreetly, all they do is proclaim loudly that "it's ok, as long as you're not married, you will have to take".

just another in-your-face reminder that the clock is ticking.
she'll get round to it when the time is right and more importantly, when she's finally found someone she knows is the best person to spend her life with. no doubt no decisions are ever perfect but she's glad to take the time now with all the sad karma going around that only adds to the delusions about marriage vows. it breaks her heart to know that the saddest thing is not about falling out of love but about making an enemy of the person whom at some point in your life, had once loved so damn much.
and we ask ourselves, where had all the good love gone?
